Anne Smith, CEO and Founder

As HealthWise Data’s founder, Anne is the architect behind providing best-in-class data products, analytics, and consultative services, helping healthcare organizations to better understand the “patient as a person” and drive better outcomes. Her passion for solving the unique problems in the healthcare industry results in innovative, relevant, and better performing products and services for HealthWise Data’s partners.

With over 30 years in consumer data and analytics, Anne has achieved tremendous success as a strategic thinker, collaborator, and business expansion leader. She has demonstrated exceptional leadership in guiding the HealthWise Data team to develop forward-thinking strategies that have elevated the company’s comprehensive data product offerings.

Anne’s passion for data and analytics is contagious, inspiring everyone around her to think outside the box and embrace new challenges. Under her guidance, the team has delivered groundbreaking data products and services that have been successfully embraced by leading healthcare brands.

Todd Gibson, Chief Operating Officer

Todd brings 30+ years of operations, business development, and entrepreneurial experience to HealthWise Data.  A continuous theme of his career has been identifying specialized sources of information and applying them to address marketing opportunities.   

Todd has held executive-level positions with Rockwell International, Borg-Warner, and infoGroup.  During the course of his career, he has advised most of the Fortune 500, representing a broad range of industries including banking, insurance, publishing, utilities, healthcare, business services, manufacturing, telecommunications, and government.  As an entrepreneur, Todd has served as an officer or board member to eight companies, four of which he co-founded. 

Todd attended Baylor University, where he earned a B.S. (Biology major, Math minor) and an MBA (Marketing) and taught statistics.  In addition to enjoying cooking and wine, Todd is an avid scuba diver – he holds 25 certifications in various specialties and has logged hundreds of dives in 13 states and 9 countries. Liza Martin, Senior Director of Customer Care

Liza looks after Customer Success at HealthWise Data. Her background is primarily in brand, property and digital marketing within the hospitality industry, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. She was a member of the pre-opening team for The Knickerbocker Hotel in New York City, where she held marketing, project management and client relations positions. Prior to HealthWise Data, Liza led the marketing strategy for a portfolio of 11 luxury hotels in Southern California for Marriott International.

Katie Panzica, Senior Director of Customer Care

Katie’s career started in marketing for a process automation company, and from there spanned across sales, product marketing and account management. For the past six years, her focus has been within the healthcare payer space, assisting with marketing and sales efforts, and managing several key client accounts. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, supporting rescue organizations, and enjoying a delicious sweet bite or two!

Matthias Kehder, Data Science Advisor  

Matthias brings over 20 years of statistical modeling, machine learning and Big Data experience to HealthWise Data, guiding analytics and data discovery.  

His experience spans several industries, including healthcare/pharma (Kaiser Permanente, Cardinal Health, Delta Dental, Thermo-Fisher Scientific, Allergan), aerospace (Boeing, Honeywell), automotive (Daimler Trucks, Kelly Blue Book), Entertainment (Paramount), High-tech (IBM, Juniper Networks), and others such as Gates Foundation, Time Inc. and Siemens.   

Matthias co-founded Modern Analytics, where he architected and developed Model Factory, a disruptive technology software platform, which automates predictive modeling and forecasting. Model Factory allows for virtual limitless deployment of analytical processes such as regressions, neural networks or time series methods with a fraction of the resources required by manual methods.
